We have made available two new reports for All Hospitals on the Apprise Secure Portal. These reports are the 15 Year Medicare Cut Analysis and the Quality Program Measure Trends Analysis. These reports can be very valuable in helping hospitals estimate future impact of medicare reimbursement and understanding how their state rank in various quality measures. Below are summaries of each report. You can view your hospital’s report in addition to detailed descriptions on the apprise portal.
2017 Medicare Cuts Analysis
This report indicates how existing Medicare provider payment cuts would be exacerbated by additional cuts that Congress may consider to achieve Medicare payment policy and/or long-term deficit reduction goals. The impacts shown in this analysis include the major cuts enacted since 2010 as well as several of the major cuts proposed in recent years. Also included are projections of cuts under consideration though the year 20256. Due to the lack of data, some enacted cuts are not included in this analysis.
Detailed descriptions of each cut used in the analysis can be found in the report description on the Apprise portal.
